Cascades Preserve is approximately 130 acres of natural woodland and rich wildlife habitat. Join us for a lovely walk along its Falling Waters Trail as we watch for spring ephemeral flowers, and resident and early migrating birds.
Location: Meet in the parking lot at 7359 Goodwill Church Rd, Kernersville, NC 27284.

Distance: 2 miles
Difficulty rating: Moderate. Well-maintained wooded trail follows a creek and has some hills. There are many leaves, and in two spots the trail crosses the creek over rocks, but with rope handholds, so waterproof shoes with traction are recommended.
Provisions needed: Water/drinks, lunch/snacks. Waterproof shoes with traction.
Special Notes:
· There are no restroom facilities.
· Parts of the trail pass near a gun range (pointed away from the trails) so you might hear some shots.
· Please feel free to pack a picnic lunch to enjoy with us after the walk.
